Legend says that when the Baobab was planted by God, it kept walking and would not stay still, so God pulled it out of the earth and re-planted it upside down which is why they look as if they have their roots sticking up into the air. Whatever blooms from the Baobab tree is given back to the earth because the mighty tree never forgets its roots...

Landscaping na lang ang kulang.
yap, that's the one. he restored it back to how it must've looked like in the early 1900s. it's now called "Casa Leon"
he's still thinking of a concept para sa landscaping nya. niloloko nga namin na palagyan nya ng swimming pool saka umbrellas sa paligid para magmukhang resort. :D

that's just the exterior, you should see what's inside. and to think the person who designed and built it was not even an architect.
BTW, the town of san juan, batangas has several of these old ancestral houses. halos magkakatabi sila. some has been restored, others kept as is.
